Fun Art? Why so serious? Those gallery folks and college art history textbooks might have you believe that art can't be fun. Wrong. Art can be super fun.
Take it from me. I attended art school and have worked for art galleries a many. Fun isn't always a high priority or rewarded subject. Let's just say that my college professors didn't appreciate my artwork 100% of the time.
It's best you have a well rounded art collection that represents a variation of moods. Depending on your mood you will see different things within a piece of artwork. Sometimes you need to sit and contemplate over some dark industrial art. A nice piece of decorative art over your couch will make you feel at home. Other times you need to lighten up and just have some fun. Art can mean or represent many things. The most important thing about art is how it makes you feel.
