The White Picket Fence Portfolio
This series features humorous photos of Hummel Collectible Figurines. I find these little collectibles at various antique malls around the United States. Your weird aunt or grandma might have a stash of Hummel dolls next to all the other creepy things they collect.
The concept was to photograph each scene cinematically. None of these images were staged and the dolls were not posed. Since the Hummel figurines are valuable they are often behind lock, alarm, and glass which creates a challenge. The tricks is finding the right camera angle that brings the dolls to life.
