Artist Biography

Matt Mikulla’s artwork and photography has been exhibited throughout the United States, particularly in Nashville Tennessee, where he now resides. As one of the founding members of The First Saturday Gallery Crawl he opened up his personal studio and gallery Art Rogue to the public.

His private studio is currently located outside of Downtown Nashville on the Cumberland River. Matt continues to focus on Photography and Image-Making using both old and new technology.

Matt's artwork and photography has been sought for private, public, and corporate collections. Notable collectors include Fidelity Investments, Hotel Indigo, and the University of Montana Permanent Collection.

He has been published in major Photography magazines such as Shutterbug. In 2007 Matt was a recipient of the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Downtown Nashville Arts in Culture for his work with the First Saturday Gallery Crawl.

Matt Mikulla was born in Indianapolis and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended the University of Montana where he earned a B.A. in Studio Fine Arts and a minor in Media Arts.
